Two daughters of late CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat performed the ritual at five confluence points including Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag.
The corpses were pulled out of the rubble by rescuers a short distance away from their village on Thursday.
According to National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 5.58 am and its epicentre was 13 km from Gopeshwar at a depth of 5 km.
