BJP’s enfant terrible Bijoy Mohapatra's loss in Odisha's Patkura assembly constituency proves for the umpteenth time that BJD chief Naveen Patnaik has perfected the art of winning elections and has no match in state politics
While BJD candidate Sabitri Agarwal bagged 95,162 votes, BJP's Bijoy Mohapatra came second with 77,507 votes. Congress' Jayanta Kumar Mohanty could secure only 2090 votes.
Bijoy Mohapatra, who is the BJP candidate in the Patkura Assembly seat, in a written complaint lodged by his election agent with the returning officer, alleged that the state government's relief work has been turned into a tool by BJD candidate, Sabitri Agarwal to ‘induce’ the voters ahead of the polls.
