Former UIDAI Chairman and Congress candidate Nandan Nilekani tweeted this photo with his family after voting at the LS elections in Bangalore. In a deflection from EC rules, Nilekani got his index finger inked after casting his vote. The EC had announced that the ink would be applied on the left thumb of the voter(s) for many people still had the voting mark on their left index finger due to recent elections to panchayat and cooperative bodies in certain parts of Karnataka.

Not Nandan Technocrat he is, but Nandan Nilekani's balance is all wrong, see? That turn on the handle, Mr Nilekani, would give you the occasional lucky swipe for four, but, in all probability, you'd end up with an ungainly outside edge for a dolly catch. Importantly, would it fetch you votes for the Congress in Bangalore?
