Lok Sabha Elections Phase 3 Voting LIVE Updates: Over 60 per cent voter turnout has been recorded till 5 PM in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections currently underway in 93 parliamentary constituencies across 11 states and Union Territories. Assam recorded the highest turnout at 74.86% followed by West Bengal at 73.93% while Maharashtra witnessed the lowest at 53.63%, with Bihar doing slightly better at 56.01%. In other news, the EC on Tuesday directed microblogging platform X to take down an animated video shared by Karnataka BJP on the Muslim reservation row. The Congress had filed an FIR against BJP President JP Nadda, IT cell head Amit Malviya, and the party's Karnataka unit chief BY Vijayendra on Sunday in connection with this matter.
