Rajasthan Royals get the much-needed breakthrough as Yash Raj Punja dismisses the in-form Cooper Connolly for 30. The southpaw tried to loft the ball over the long of boundary but ends up giving a simple catch to the fielder. Shreyas Iyer joins Prabhsimran Singh in the middle.

Another fifty by Prabhsimran Singh, it's his 4th half-century in seven matches. It turned out to be a special innings as he mixed intent with sensible shot selection in the innings and played a crucial role in building a strong base for PBKS.

Rajasthan Royals bowlers have a been tight with their line and length and have manage to restrict the run-flow in the last few overs despite PBKS having Shreyas Iyer and Marcus Stoinis on the crease.

PBKS was stuttering in between with Shreyas Iyer struggling but Marcus Stoinis chipped in and blazed a sensation 19-ball half-century to take PBKS to 222/4 in 20 overs. Stoinis ended up at 66 not out in just 22 balls and his late blitz might have got PBKS to a score that could be beyond RR's range.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has started off on an expected note, dismantling Arshdeep Singh and Lockie Ferguson in the first two overs. Used his wrists beautifully to find the deep mid-wicket boundary. He also struck three consecutive boundaries of Lockie Ferguson. RR needed a good start and they are looking to go hard in the powerplay.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi departs after giving an extremely quick start to Rajasthan Royals. He raced of to just 43 runs in 15 balls and was looking extremely dangerous with his wrists powering the ball to the stands. But Arshdeep Singh changed the angle and the low fulltoss got miscued. The ball went up and Shreyas Iyer settled under it to take an easy catch. Big breakthrough for Punjab Kings.

That was a very soft dismissal by Dhruv Jurel as he departs after scoring 19 off 16 balls. It was a full-toss ball by Yuzvendra Chahal and Jurel tried to his it out of the park but the ball got too big on him and he ended up hitting into the hands of the long on fielder.

Riyan Parag slammed Yuzvendra Chahal for a six and a four and was looking dangerous on the crease but then Chahal weaved his magic and bowled a loopy delivery onto Parag's legs enticing him to hit to the long side of the boundary to which he gave in and hit it straight into the hands of the deep mid-wicket fielder.

Donovan Ferreira and Shubham Dubey have forged an unbeaten 37-run stand for the fifth wicket to take Rajasthan Royals to a strong position. Both the batters are hitting PBKS to all parts off the ground and it's dangerous signs for them.

Donovan Ferreira finishes off things with a six and with it he brings up his half-century in just 26 balls. A clinichal chase by RR, where most of their batters chipped in with crucial innings to hand PBKS their first win of the season.
