Rain has intervened in Kirtipur and it seems the game has stopped. Nepal struck before the rain intervention, claiming the wicket of Adeeb Usmani.

UAE have been set a target of 255 in 38 overs to chase and clinch victory. Rain intervened and after the interruption, the play has resumed and with D/L method, UAE will have to chase down 255.

Brilliant piece of bowling from NEP to dismiss the dangerous Adeeb Usmani (14) with Nandan Yadav striking for the hosts. Nepal need more such wickets to create the pressure on the visitors and put themselves in the driving seat.

Lamichhane keeps it tight right at the death, just nudged around here. Muhammad Shahdad manages to squeeze out a single off the final ball of the over, nothing more on offer. Before that, Harpreet Singh did the same, just working it away for one.

Muhammad Shahdad goes big and sends Lalit Rajbanshi sailing into the stands! That’s a clean, fearless hit, right in the slot and absolutely punished. Just when things were getting quiet, Shahdad injects some serious life back into this innings with a maximum.

Nepal have wrested the initiative, perhaps decisively in their favour. Three wickets in the space of 15 balls have disrupted UAE's chase and with the asking rate over 12, it is a herculean task now. Sandeep Lamichhane sends back Muhammad Shahdad and Zuhaib Zubair, while Sompal Kami gets rid of Emirates skipper Muhammad Waseem to put the Rhinos in the driver's seat.

UAE are not going down so easy. Khuzaima Tanveer has come out all guns blazing, racing away to an unbeaten 36 off 17 balls with four sixes and a four. Akshdeep Nath (19 not out off 24) is giving him company as the equation changes radically. The visitors need 37 runs off 18 balls with four wickets in hand. Can Nepal hold firm at the death?

Nepal hold their nerves! With 15 needed off the last over, it was anybody's game but seamer Nandan Yadav bowls an excellent over, getting rid of dangerman Khuzaima Tanveer (49 off 26) and only conceding eight runs. The Rhinos limit UAE to 248 for 8, winning the match by six runs (DLS method).
