IPL 2026 - Points Table

After all the action on the field, it's the Indian Premier League 2026 points table that reflects the true picture. The 10 IPL teams' standings are determined by the table, which captures the number of matches played, wins, losses, net run rate and overall points earned during the league phase.

A total of 70 games will be played in the preliminary phase, with every side taking the field 14 times. After each of those 70 matches, the IPL 2026 points table will get updated dynamically with the latest rankings. The teams that finish in the top four qualify for the playoffs, while the remaining six get eliminated from the title race.

In the previous season, Punjab Kings finished on top of the table after the group stage with 19 points. Royal Challengers Bengaluru stood second with as many points as PBKS but an inferior NRR. Gujarat Titans ended up third with 18 points, while Mumbai Indians rounded out the playoffs line-up.

Going into IPL 2026, RCB are the defending champions, having clinched their maiden title in 2025. The Rajat Patidar-led outfit seeks to have another fruitful season, even as all teams vie for ascendance in the points table.
