Welcome to the live coverage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. Today is the fifth round of the group stages of the tournament.

The winners of all the five groups will directly advance to the quarterfinals. The best second-placed team from all groups combined will also get a direct entry. The remaining four second-placed teams from the four groups will play each other in two pre-quarterfinals to decide which two teams will advance to the quarter-finals.

With 16 fours and 6 sixes, Sharma’s explosive innings (currently 127 off 73 balls) alongside Prabhsimran Singh (84) sets Punjab up for a challenging total as they put pressure on Saurashtra.

Despite Dip Borah claiming 3 wickets, Nagaland struggled to contain Mumbai's dominant batting lineup.

Punjab Sets a Huge Target of 425 Runs Against Saurashtra posting a commanding total of 424/5 in 50 overs, thanks to a brilliant knock of 170 from captain Abhishek Sharma.

Prabhsimran Singh added a valuable 125, while Anmol Malhotra remained unbeaten on 48. Sanvir Singh also helped with his 40. Saurashtra's bowlers struggled to stop the Punjab batters with only Pranav Karia showing a strong performance taking 4 wickets and DA Jadeja taking one.

Saurashtra are off to a difficult start in the chase, having reached 112/3 in 11 overs.

Rajasthan are facing an uphill task at 57/3 after 15 overs in their chase of 233 against Services.

Services, led by Mohit Ahlawat's gritty 78 and Rajat Paliwal's steady 70, managed to post 232 in 47.5 overs.

Andhra registered a comprehensive 10-wicket win against Meghalaya. Chasing a target of 224, Andhra openers Srikar Bharat (107 off 81) and Ashwin Hebbar (108 off 96) put on a masterclass, completing the chase in just 29.3 overs without losing a wicket.

Earlier, Meghalaya managed 223 in 48.2 overs, with Arpit Bhatewara top-scoring with 66.

Hyderabad clinched a thrilling 3-wicket victory over Karnataka.

Karnataka posted a competitive 320/8, powered by Mayank Agarwal's brilliant 124 and Smaran Ravichandran's steady 83. However, Hyderabad's chase was anchored by skipper Tilak Varma's exceptional 99 and Aelgani Varun Goud's unbeaten 109. Although there were early setbacks, Hyderabad reached the target with two balls to spare, thanks to a crucial late cameo by Chama V Milind (43).

Karnataka's Praveen Dubey's 2/49 and Nikin Jose's all-round effort (37 runs and 2/42) went in vain as Hyderabad secured a well-fought win.

Bengal over Kerala by 24 runs in a low-scoring match.

Batting first, Bengal managed 206/9, with skipper Sudip Gharami and Pradipta Pramanik making crucial contributions of 46 and 74, respectively. Kerala's bowlers, led by MD Nidheesh (3/46) and Sarwate (2/21), kept Bengal in check.

Kerala's chase faltered despite Mohammed Azharuddeen's 26 and captain Salman Nizar's 49. Sayan Ghosh turned the game with an impressive 5/35, supported by Mukesh Kumar's 2/27, as Bengal bowled Kerala out for 182 in 46.5 overs.

Delhi secured a convincing 64-run victory against Tripura.

Batting first, Delhi posted a formidable 306/6, thanks to Tejasvi Dahiya's explosive 114 off 78 balls, supported by steady contributions from Arpit Rana (64) and Sumit Mathur (47).

Tripura's chase stumbled at the start, with Ishant Sharma striking twice to reduce them to 1/2. Although Mandeep Singh (46) and Bikramjit Debnath (45) fought back, Prince Yadav's 4/53 dismantled the middle order. Hrithik Shokeen chipped in with 2/55 to bowl Tripura out for 242 in 49.2 overs.

Baroda clinched victory over Bihar by 36 runs.

Batting first, Baroda scored 277, powered by a commanding 109 from Vishnu Solanki and crucial contributions from A Sheth (36) and Shivalik Sharma (39). Amod Yadav's 4/38 and Suraj Kashyap's economical bowling (1/37) kept Bihar in the game.

In response, Bihar's chase faltered despite a valiant 71 off 42 balls by Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Jharkhand secured a commanding 7-wicket victory over Odisha at KL Saini Ground, Jaipur chasing down the target comfortably in 22.3 overs, thanks to Utkarsh Singh's unbeaten 91 off 60 balls, supported by Kumar Kushagra’s 33. Rajesh Mohanty (2/16) picked up two early wickets, but the target proved insufficient to challenge Jharkhand’s batting line-up.

In a rain-affected match, Haryana edged out Uttarakhand by 2 wickets.

Batting first, Uttarakhand managed 178/9 in 31 overs, with Kunal Chandela scoring 70 off 63, while Haryana's Anshul Kamboj claimed 4/24.

In reply, Haryana chased the target in 30 overs, led by Nishant Sindhu's 46 off 45 and Dinesh Bana's explosive 49 off 19. Deepak Dhapola's 3/32 for Uttarakhand was in vain as Haryana clinched a thrilling victory.

Puducherry defeated Arunachal Pradesh by 191 runs at Narendra Modi Stadium B Ground, Ahmedabad.

Puducherry posted a mammoth 372/9, powered by Neyan Shyam Kangayan’s 106 off 81 with the help from R Jashwanth Shreeram (76) and Ankit Sharma (42). Nabam Joshi claimed 4/59 for Arunachal.

In response, Arunachal was bowled out for 181 in 47.4 overs, despite Biki Kumar’s 39 and Tanish Patkar’s 28. Aman Khan starred with 6/30.
