In this Jan. 18, 1999 photo, long-time resident and booster of Yosemite Lakes Park Richard Kiel talks about moving to the foothill community near Coarsegold, Calif., from Southern California for the benefit of his children. Kiel, the towering actor best known for portraying steel-toothed villain Jaws in a pair of James Bond films, has died. Kelley Sanchez, director of communications at Saint Agnes Medical Center, confirmed that Kiel was a patient at the hospital and died. Kiel's agent, Steven Stevens, also confirmed his death. Both declined to provide further details. He was 74.
