'BA Pass' actress was found dead in her rented apartment in the suburban Versova area, in Mumbai. Shikha Joshi (40) was found lying in a pool of blood with a knife lodged inside her throat in her flat at MHADA's Rajyog Society where she lived with her roommate. Prima facie, police suspect it to be a case of suicide, however, no suicide note has been recovered from the site.

Pete Seeger, 94, folk singer hero who for over seven decades was the voice of social protest for Americans. The banjo man wrote classics like Turn, Turn, Turn; made We Shall Overcome global anthem.
