  • KKR Vs PBKS, IPL 2024: Punjab Kings Record Highest Run-Chase In T20 Cricket - As It Happened

    The history has been made in Eden Gardens on Friday. Punjab Kings successfully chased down the 262-run target with eight balls and as many wickets to spare against the former champions Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024. Prabhsimran Singh set the tone of the chase but unfortunately lost his wicket in a freak run-out. Jonny Bairstow took the responsibility and slammed a 45-ball ton but it was Shashank Singh's power-hitting which helped Punjab Kings won the match comfortably. He smashed eight sixes and two fours in his unbeaten 68-run knock in just 28 balls. Earlier, Sunil Narine and Phil Salt both made 70-odd runs which helped KKR put 261 runs on the board.   • SRH Vs RCB, IPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bengaluru Beat Sunrisers Hyderabad By 35 Runs - As It Happened

    Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs in match 41 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday. Batting first, RCB amassed 206 runs on the board thanks to Rajat Patidar's quickfire fifty and Virat Kohli's patient half-century. Cameron Green played a crucial cameo in the end. He also picked two wickets while bowling. Will Jacks dismissed the destructive batter Travis Head in the first over to put SRH on the back foot from where they never recovered and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.   • PBKS Vs MI, IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians Beat Punjab Kings By Nine Runs - As It Happened

    Ashutosh Sharma's pyrotechnics did not prove to be enough as five-time champions Mumbai Indians beat Punjab Kings by nine runs in an Indian Premier League match on Thursday. Chasing a challenging 193, young sensation Ashutosh played the knock of his nascent career, smashing a 28-ball 61 to keep PBKS in the hunt till the end. Besides Ashutosh, Shashank Singh made 41 off 25 balls for PBKS but were eventually bowled for 183 in 19.1 overs. Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav struck 78 off 53 balls to take MI to 192 for seven.   • GT Vs DC, IPL 2024: Delhi Capitals Thrash Gujarat Titans By Six Wickets In Ahmedabad - As It Happened

    Delhi Capitals defeated Gujarat Titans at their home venue again! DC captain Rishabh Pant invited GT to bat first on a new pitch and completely dominated them throughout the match. Ishant Sharma and Mukesh Kumar humbled GT's top order and Tristan Stubbs' two wickets in a single over took the game completely away from them. Rashid Khan fought a lone war but could only take his team to 89 all-out. In response, DC chased down the easy target within nine overs. Thanks to this massive win in tonight's IPL game, DC have improved their standing in the points table. They now stand at number six, just one position above GT.
