Rishab Shetty Chronicles Spiritual Experience At Ram Mandir, Says It's Surreal Being In Ayodhya

A day prior to the main inauguration ceremony, Rishab Shetty and his wife sought blessings from Lord Hanuman. The actor-filmmaker talked about his experience being in Ayodhya and recalled some of his childhood memories.

Rishab Shetty, known for 'Kantara,' is one of the many Indian celebrities who graced the auspicious Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration. Rishab and his wife Pragathi arrived a day prior to experience the divine ambiance of the holy site. They went to sought blessings from Lord Hanuman, and posted a photo in front of the Ram Mandir on the eve of its inauguration. 

In a recent interview as per Pinkvilla, Rishab Shetty expressed his profound experience at the sacred site, labelling it to be an experience that he will not forget. The actor reflected on how he never even thought of getting such a massive opportunity, and gave credits to his hit film 'Kantara' for not only bringing him professionally forward but also enhancing his spiritual beliefs.

Expressing his excitement upon being invited, he believes it's because of his karma and the deeds of his past life.

The actor joyfully went ahead and took a trip down memory lane to recount his childhood memories of participating in 'Ram Bhajans' back in his village, where bhajans would play all day and all night long. He expressed the surreal feeling of standing in the same place as the birthplace of Lord Ram, stating how he thought such an experience was not on the cards for him, not at least up until a few years ago. 

Reacting to questions about his sentiments toward Ayodhya as a city, he expressed that there's this profound sense of divinity and an indescribable energy that one can only feel, not see. He went on to say that the spirit and happiness was evident in the eyes of the people present there, and emphasized on the overwhelming excitement and joy that's hovering over the city. He believes that people's wishes and prayers are finally coming true after a prolonged period of almost 500 years with the consecration of the temple.

Apart from Shetty, many celebrities from South's film fraternity were extended invites, which include big names like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Rajinikanth, Dhanush, and many more.
