Actress Nora Fatehi, on Monday (July 31), was seen at Delhi’s Patiala House Court in connection with the Rs 200 crore money laundering case that involves conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. She was in a black outfit and went inside the court. The video of Nora arriving at court has gone viral. The latest report states that Nora has recorded her statement before the Metropolitan Magistrate Kapil Gupta in a defamation case filed by her against actress Jacqueline Fernandez and various media organizations.

Fatehi in her statement told the court, "This defamation case has been filed against Jacqueline Fernandez and the various other channels and publications who have ruined my reputation in the public eye through false narratives."

She also stated that they have called her a "gold digger" and accused her of having a relationship with Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

The 'O Saki Saki' fame actress further stated that it has caused her "a loss of financial gain and reputation". Citing the reason why she has filed the case is because of the ongoing ED case against Sukesh who was accused of conning a sum of Rs 200 crore that she has nothing to do with and she knows nothing about it.

"I have been made a scapegoat in this case in the media, to safeguard certain people’s image, because I am an outsider and I’m alone in this country," said Nora before the court and also wants compensation for the damage done to her "career and reputation", which she has "built relentlessly over the last 8 years".
