Many NRIs and People of Indian Origin want to contribute to the NGOs helping the poor in India cope with the Coronavirus pandemic and the 21-day lockdown currently in place.

However, besides trust issues, many of these NGOs are not geared towards accepting funds from abroad.

Apart from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, here is a list of NGOs, which accept international remittances. This is not an exhaustive list, and we will keep updating it regularly after verification.

These are organisations which help daily-wage workers and other socio-economically weaker sections of India, who have been hit hardest by the lockdown to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. Donate generously.
