A civilian was killed after unknown militants lobbed a grenade towards a police party in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday afternoon, the police said.
The police said suspected militants lobbed grenade toward the police party at Murran chowk leading to injuries of four persons including one CRPF personnel.
Of three wounded civilians, according the deputy commissioner Pulwama, one, Mohammad Ayub Wani, succumbed in the district hospital. While two other wounded are stated to be stable. The CRPF jawan has been shifted to Srinagar for the treatment.
