South Africa, the current World Test Championship (WTC) mace holders, travel to Zimbabwe to participate in two-match Test series starting from June 28 at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.
The Proteas took on their African neighbours earlier this month for a warm-up match before the WTC final but will now play a two-match Test series against them. This series though won't be part of the WTC 2025-27 cycle.
Proteas will be without key stars and will be led by Keshav Maharaj as they will dish out debuts to the likes of Dewald Brevis and Lhuan-dre Pretorius.
As for the hosts, their two-match Test series will be followed by a tri-series including RSA and New Zealand, a red-ball series against the Kiwis and a series against Sri Lanka.
