Amid political parties stepping up activities in the run-up to the mega Lok Sabha elections slated to take place this year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday launched its poll campaign for the general polls with a song Sapne Nahi Haqeeqat Bunte Hai, Tabhi Toh Sab Modi Ko Chunte Hai [Not dreams, we weave realities, that is why we choose Modi]"

The campaign was launched at the First Time Voters Conclave NaMo Navmatdata Sammelan in the presence of PM Modi, with party president JP Nadda releasing the theme song in a 2-minute, 10-second video.

The campaign song gives the message that India's situation was deplorable and then the country chose NaMo (PM Modi) as the PM.

Speaking on the occasion of National Voters' Day, PM Modi on Thursday said "Stable government results in big decisions" and urged eligible youngsters to register themselves as voters for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Interacting with young voters via video conferencing during Namo Navmatdata Sammelan, PM Modi told them that they have to be enrolled in the voter list at a time when the country is going through its 'Amrit Kaal' and also said that the power of their vote can defeat 'parivarwadi' parties.

PM Modi said that each vote is powerful, adding that when there is stable and full majority government in the country then the nation can take big decisions. "With the power of your vote, you have to defeat 'parivarwadi' parties," PM Modi said.
