Lauren Bell is on the money, straight away. The tall RCB seamer tucks up UPW skipper Meg Lanning for the first ball, before sending the next ball shaping away. Lanning gets off the mark post that, and so does her opening partner Harleen Deol. Three runs off a tight first over.

Lauren Bell's skillful seam bowling bears fruit, as she has Harleen Deol miscuing a lofted shot straight to Smriti Mandhana at mid off. In the following over by Shreyanka Patil, Meg Lanning survives a scare as Arundhati Reddy appears to complete a catch at square leg but a third umpire referral leads to replays, showing that Reddy actually grassed it. Meanwhile, the red-hot Phoebe Litchfield is in the act straight away, racing to a 7-ball 14.

Well, well, well. What's happening here? The Warriorz have lost four wickets for 11 runs, including three off consecutive deliveries, to go five down by the ninth over. A few big shots have not come off with the ball gripping the surface, indicative of what is perhaps a somewhat sticky pitch at the moment. Shreyanka Patil and Nadine de Klerk have claimed two wickets apiece already and Lauren Bell has bowled out, finishing with exemplary figures of 1/16 in four overs.

Deandra Dottin (22 not out) and Deepti Sharma (14 not out) are resurrecting the Warriorz innings in the middle overs. They have strung together an unbroken 41-run stand to give their team a chance of a late onslaught. Bengaluru have not conceded runs too quickly but will be wary of this pair anyway.

Dottin (40 not out) and Deepti (45 not out) stay there till the end, and take the Warriorz to a respectable 143-run total. Having been down in the dumps at 50 for 5 at one stage, Meg Lanning and Co will take this. Now for their bowlers to try and restrict the power-packed RCB batting line-up.

Interesting. India off-spinner Deepti Sharma takes the new ball for UPW, perhaps for her match-up with RCB captain Smriti Mandhana. But her opening partner Grace Harris welcomes Deepti with an imperious four down the ground. She gets another boundary, through the offside, and Bengaluru are away.

Grace Harris and Smriti Mandhana (19 not out) are in the mood! The Australian gets to her fifty off just 22 balls, reaching the landmark with a towering six. Deandra Dottin is the hapless victim as Harris clobbers 32 runs off her first over. RCB smash 78 runs in the powerplay to wipe out a huge chunk of the target, without losing any wicket.

The Grace Harris show continues! It's the 32-year-old's night, and she is making the most of it. Harris is batting on 80 off 37, and had it not been for a lack of runs, she was primed for the tournament's first-ever century. Mandhana, meanwhile is playing second-fiddle for a change, unbeaten at 46 off 30.

It's all over. Though Harris eventually perishes for a fabulous 40-ball 85, but the job is done by then and new batter Richa Ghosh applies the finishing touches alongside Mandhana, who stays not out on 47. RCB notch up their second straight win, and a big one at that, while it's the second defeat on the bounce for the Warriorz.
