India U19 captain Ayush Mhatre has won the toss and opted to bowl first in today's U19 Asia Cup 2025 final match.

After a good start from the Pakistani openers, India U19 get the early breakthrough that they wanted, removing the hard-hitting Zahoor. After hitting Henil for a six in the first ball of the over, Zahoor tried to go big again but could not get enough of the ball, making it an easy catch for Mhatre at mid-off. Usman Khan is the new batter for PAK U19.

Despite the early setback, Pakistan U19 have continued to score at almost eight-an-over in the first powerplay. Minhas, the tournament's top-scorer, is looking good out on the pitch against the pacers, hitting at a strike rate of 165.

Meanwhile, there's a massive source of concern for India U19 as Suryavanshi gets treated on the pitch. Looks like an issue with his hamstring after a misfield two balls prior.

Minhas opens the over with a quick flick and a single, completing a terrific half-century for the Pakistan U19 opener. In such a huge ocassion, this is a very good knock from the 19-year-old, and the dugout appreciates it. He follows it up with a thumping boundary, taking Pakistan's total over the 100-run mark.

Chance for India U19 in the third ball of the over, and Khilan Patel drops Usman Khan!! With the Young Shaheens well settled, India U19 cannot afford to let these chances go, with Khilan dropping an absolute sitter off his own delivery.

Usman Khan's luck finally runs out, as Khilan gets his man!! There's another moment of mini heart attack as Henil needed more than one attempt to hold on to the catch, but hold on he did, and Pakistan U19 lose their second wicket of the final. Ahmed Hussain is the new batter.

Sameer Minhas (79 not out off 56) is blazing away and the Indian bowlers are finding it hard to stem the run flow. The right-handed opener has smashed 11 fours and two sixes already and is finding able support from Ahmed Hussain (15 not out off 23), who has hit his first four after facing 22 deliveries to break the shackles. The Blue Colts need a wicket to seize control again.

Sameer Minhas marches to a superb 71-ball century, getting to the landmark with a boundary through mid-on. He has single-handedly taken Pakistan to a position of strength in the final, leaving Ayush Mhatre with some thinking to do. If he manages to continue for 10 more overs, the potential target might even cross 380.

Pakistan U19 are well and truly in control of the innings at the moment, with Minhas playing the knock of his career. A massive six off an off-stumper from Chouhan takes him to 133 runs of just 90 balls. India U19 need a wicket if they want to restrict a 350-plus total.

Ahmed Hussain wraps up the over with a single off the leg side, and that brings up a 69-ball half-century. A stabilising innings for Pakistan U19, with Minhas hitting the big shots at the other end. These two have swung the pendulum in favour of the Young Shaheens.

Just three balls after reaching his half-century, Hussain drags an outside off delivery from Khilan straight into the arms of Mhatre, and India U19 get the breakthrough that they desperately needed!! However, the Boys in Blue need a couple more of these. Farhan Yousaf, the skipper, is the new batter for Pakistan U19.

The Sameer Minhas train keeps on running, with the opener getting a boundary off the very first ball of the over to reach his 150. 153, more precisely, off just 105 balls. He is toying with the India U19 bowlers at the moment, with Ayush Mhatre having no answer at the moment.

Finally!! It looked like Minhas was destined to last the distance, but his terrific innings comes to an end. A couple of sixes and a boundary in the first four balls of the over, but Devendran rocks back with a slower one. Minhas ends up mistiming his shot, and it goes straight up in the air. Chouhan, running in from long-on, holds on to the ball gratefully. Minhas departs for 172 runs off 113 balls. Huzaifa Ahsan is the new batter for Pakistan U19.

Huzaifa's innings lasts just three balls as he departs for a duck. It was nothing special of a delivery from Chouhan, but Huzaifa hit it straight into the arms of Malhotra. Mohammad Shayan is the new batter, and he gets off the mark straight away.

The domino effect is in full swing, and Devendran knocks the stumps of the skipper, Farhan Yousaf. It was a full-toss delivery from the medium pacer, getting a thick inside edge off Yousaf before clattering on to the stumps. Abdul Subhan is the new batter for Pakistan U19.

And the wickets keep on tumbling, much to the joy of the India U19 players. Shayan departs for just seven runs, edging an outside off delivery straight into the keeper's gloves. Niqab Shafiq is the next batter to come on for Pakistan U19.

A brilliant fight back from India U19 in Dubai, with eight wickets in the last eight overs to stop Minhas and co. from posting a formidable total. 347 is still a great total, helped by Sayyam's final-ball six. However, if India U19's batters are in full song, this chase looks difficult but doable.

Oh no!! The chase began perfectly for India U19, with Suryavanshi hitting three sixes in the opening two overs to reach 32. Just when it looked rosy for the Boys in Blue, Mhatre tries to hit Ali Raza towards the off-side but only manages to find Yousaf at mid-off. The India U19 skipper is not pleased. Aaron George is the new batter.

It's all going so wrong for India U19's chase, and the main man, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, departs after a quickfire 26-run innings. After Aaron George is beaten by Sayyam's short ball and loses his wicket, it's Suryavanshi's turn to be outwitten by Pakistan U19. Raza gets his second as the 14-year-old batter edges it straight to Zahoor. Vedant Trivedi is the new batter.

India U19's domino of wickets continue to fall as Vihaan Malhotra is the latest to depart for just seven runs. Subhan gets his first scalp in his first over as Vihaan swings and misses, with the ball hitting the stumps. Last match's double-centurion Abhigyan Kundu is the new batter.

The first powerplay is over, and half of India U19's batters have returned to the dugout. Vedant is the latest to fall under the immense pressure. Looking to attack a shorter delivery, he only manages to top-edge the ball which is taken, amid some confusion, by Shafiq at mid-wicket. Kanishk Chouhan is the new batter.

Innings spiraling down for the Indian colts. Still over 200 runs required for victory and Ayush Mhatre-led side have lost half their side in the process. Pakistan are well on top here and few more scalps, and they can start smelling the taste of victory.

India's double-centurion Abhigyan Kundu was the latest wicket to fall as the Boys in Blue slid further into trouble against their arch-rivals. Pakistan are well on top here and and will smell victory.

Kanishk Chouhan was the latest wicket to fall as Indian team facing the ignominy of a defeat at the hands of their arch-rivals, Pakistan. Ali Raza has been brilliant, snaring 3 wickets.

India U19 need 234 runs and have three wickets in hand. Tough task for the Indian batters, especially Pakistan U-19 side right on top here and well within the sight of victory.

Indian colts on the verge of defeat here as Pakistan are two wickets away from clinching the title. What a moment this will be for the Boys in Green!

Deepesh Devendran is going for hit with some fours and sixes with India now one wicket away from losing. The batter is entertaining the crowd in Dubai with couple of boundaries.

That's it! Pakistan took mere 26.2 overs to complete the job, as they bowl out India for 156 and in the process win the Asia Cup title. The Boys in Blue were poor in the field and also, their batting did not click when it mattered the most.
