Delhi's political culture seems to be to support the more powerful corporate faction. Anil may be suffering because most people in political circles don't wish to be seen with him.
Anil's camp has consistently alleged that Mukesh's side is deliberately blocking the younger brother's projects. RIL, as well as the government, has, of course, denied these accusations.
Obviously, a fragmented Reliance has lost some of its political clout. And its powerful enemies in corporate circles have become active in lobbying against the weaker Ambani (i.e Anil).
