Glenn Maxwell made a quick 58 off just 32 balls including five fours and three sixes to take his team to a respectable score of 156 runs after 20 overs.
James Vince gave a quick start and went on to make a half-century but no other batter scored in 30s which resulted in a 16-run loss for the Sixers.
