It was only a passing shower and after a slight delay the players are back in the field and Mitchell Marsh continued on his merry ways as he belted Hazlewood for a six down the ground to get his team off to a solid start.

It's Mitchell Marsh show today in Lucknow as the Aussie opener race past the 50-run mark in just 20 balls. It's his fastest fifty of his IPL career and slams three fours and six sixes during the course of his blazing fifty. Danger signs for RCB!

Unfortunate scenes at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow as rain stops play yet against. This is the second rain stoppage of the match and it's even more heartbreaking as Mitchell Marsh was putting on a show for the fans with the bat. The Aussie hard-hitter is unbeaten on 76 off 32 balls, while Arshin Kulkarni at the other end is struggling at 17 off 22 balls. The rain seems heavier this time than last time. Let's hope it gets clear shortly and the live action resumes.

Krunal Pandya ends Arshin Kulkarni's painful stay at the crease. However, it could have been a blessing in disguise for LSG as Nicholas Pooran entered the middle with intent and slams Rasikh Salam for two fours in the 11th over to get the desired momentum. RCB need to break this dangerous partnership, otherwise they could take the match away from them in no time.

Marsh's innings has been the highlights of the match so far as he's currently batting on 107 not out off just 51 balls along with Nichols Pooran (14*).

Mitchell Marsh's blistering innings finally comes to an end as he played a rocket shot straight into the hands of the deep extra covers fielder. Marsh goes after smashing 111 runs off just 55 balls before falling to Josh Hazlewood. Rishabh Pant joins Nicholas Pooran in the middle and stamps his authority with two consecutive boundaries of Hazlewood.

Mohammed Shami makes optimum use of the first ball. After beating Jacob Bethell couple of times, he finally gets him to throw his bat on a beatiful outswinger. The ball takes a leading edge and Prince Yadav takes a falling catch at the deep point boundary. RCB lose their first wicket as Bethell goes after scoring just 3 runs.

Another time and this time it's the big fish. Virat Kohli is clean bowled for a duck by a perfect in-swinging delivery from Prince Yadav. RCB are in heaps of trouble in Lucknow.

After early loss of both the openers - Virat Kohli and Jacob Bethell cheaply, Rajat Patidar and Debdutt Paddikal have stabilized RCB's innings to an extent. However, too much work is still left to be done, RCB would want both these batters to carry on as long as possible.

Rajat Patidar slams two sixes to Digvijay Rathi to accumulate 17 runs from the over taking RCB to 86 in 9 runs. The partnership between Devdutt Paddikal (32*) and Rajat Patidar (45*) is going from strength to strength. RCB now need 127 runs to win from 60 balls.

First he induces Devdutt Paddikal to play a false shot and takes a brilliant follow through catch and then follows it with a sharp bouncer to get Jitesh Sharma caught by Rishabh Pant.

Tim David belts Mayank Yadav for two sixes and a four to accumulate 17 runs from the over. He is a dangerous batter and RCB hopes largely relies on David pulling off a heroic performance at the Ekana Stadium.
