Bengal’s pace duo have hit the right areas straightaway, putting J&K under serious pressure. Akash Deep struck early to remove a batter and kept things tight, while Mohammed Shami has been relentless, conceding just two runs in his opening two overs and picking up a wicket. With the score crawling to 4/2 after 3 overs and both openers struggling to get going, J&K desperately need a steady partnership to halt Bengal’s early dominance.

Two more wickets fall in quick succession as Yawer Hassan (4.1) and Shubham Khajuria (9.2) are sent back, leaving Jammu & Kashmir reeling at 20/4. Bengal tighten the screws, and J&K are now in survival mode, desperately needing a stabilising stand.

Jammu & Kashmir continue to lose wickets in a heap as Abdul Samad (12.3) and Rydham (13.6) are dismissed in quick succession. From bad to worse, the scoreboard now reads 45/6, with Bengal completely on top and the pressure suffocating the batting side.

Jammu & Kashmir’s collapse is complete as they are bowled out for just 63 in 20.4 overs. The wickets fell in a heap, with Abid Mushtaq (17.1), Auqib Nabi (17.4), Yudhuvir Singh (18.3) and P K Dogra (20.4) all departing in quick succession. It was a fast-bowling masterclass from Bengal, with Mukesh Kumar and Akash Deep running through the line-up, both finishing with four wickets each.

Despite losing Abhimanyu Easwaran in the first over, Abishek Porel and Sudip Kumar Gharami have continued the aggression.

Chasing a modest target, Bengal never looked under any pressure. Abishek Porel led the charge with a fluent 30 off 26, finding the gaps regularly, while Sudip Kumar Gharami played a calm supporting hand with 25 off 27. Skipper A R Easwaran fell early, but it barely caused a ripple as Bengal marched to 64/1 in just 9.3 overs, sealing an emphatic and hassle-free victory.
