The 2025-26 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to begin from December 26 with the final scheduled to be played on January 23, 2026. BPL have gone through some major overhauls in comparison to last year. This year's edition of the BPL will only feature 6 teams in comparison to 7 in the previous edition. Last year's winners Fortune Barishal and Khulna Tigers will not feature in BPL anymore.

Dhaka Capitals and Rangpur Riders are the only teams that have lived to see another season, while the remaining three - Rajshahi, Chattogram and Sylhet - have had changes in their ownership. Chittagong Kings, Durbar Rajshahi and Sylhet Strikers are now Chattogram Royals, Rajshahi Warriors and Sylhet Titans and Noakhali Express was inducted just before the auctions that took place on November 30.
