The 22-year-old debutant beat South Africa's Louis Meintjes (Intermarche-Wanty-Gobert Materiaux) by 48 secs. Another Briton, Chris Froome (Israel-Premier Tech) came third. Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) continues to lead the general classification despite finishing 6th, behind Neilson Powless (USA/EF Education-EasyPost) and Tadej Pogacar (SLO/UAE Team Emirates). Stage 13 will cover 193 km, from Le Bourg-d'Oisans to Saint-Etienne. It will be a flat stage.
