In the prior Group B clash of the day, I-League champions Inter Kashi have held Durand Cup winners NorthEast United to a 2-2 draw in Bambolim. The Highlanders came from 0-1 down to lead 2-1 before Karthik Panicker's equaliser in the 74th minute.

The second half finally gets underway in Margao. FC Goa kicking from right to left and Jamshedpur FC the other way now. It is still raining but not as heavily, though the pitch will not yet be too conducive for full-fledged, regular football.

FC Goa double their advantage, and most possibly seal the match in their favour. Dejan Drazic pounces on a rebound following Borja's corner, and Jamshedpur FC have it all to do in the final 18 or so minutes of the game.

The minutes are ticking by and an Jamshedpur FC comeback is looking increasingly unlikely at this stage. A rain-affected game always makes goals more decisive than a regular one, because of the unpredictable nature of play. Meanwhile, five minutes added as stoppage time.
