After a composed start, Padikkal and Agarwal have started going big, hitting sixes and fours in the last three overs to keep the run rate ticking. A maximum off Aryan by Padikkal takes Karnataka over the 50-run mark in the ninth over, with a solid partnership building between the openers.

Karnataka lose their first wicket of the day at the start of the 13th over, with Devdutt Padikkal being dismissed for 35 off 39 balls, including two fours and two sixes, by Tripuresh Singh. Karun Nair, the new batter, has made a solid start, batting at 10 off 13, with Mayank approaching his half-century at the other end.

After the cheap dismissal of Karun Nair, Mayank was joined at the crease by Smaran Ravichandran. The Karnataka opener kept the scoreboard ticking with singles, inching towards what would have been a deserved half-century. However, he loses his wicket just one run short at 49, being caught by Yash Dubey off Kartikeya's bowling. Krishnan Shrijith is the new batter for Karnataka.

Shrijith, the new batter, is dismissed for just six runs off 14 balls by Shivang Kumar, with captain Venkatesh Iyer taking the catch. Karnataka will need to build another partnership from scratch, with Smaran and new batter, Shreyas Gopal, at the crease.

Third wicket of the day for Shivang Kumar, who had earlier dismissed Smaran for 11. Now, he breaks the partnership between Shreyas and Abhinav Manohar, castling the stumps of the former for 19 off 25 balls. Karnataka's innings, despite a superb start given by their openers, is at the danger of unravelling here.

With 10 overs left to play, the once-promising Karnataka innings have gone terribly wrong after a complete middle-order collapse. At the heart of it has been left-arm spinner Shivang Kumar, who has taken five wickets for 41 runs in eight overs so far, dismissing Manohar and Sachar before the 35th over.

Karnataka's innings comes to an end in 47.4 overs as they are all out fo 207. The opening pair of Mayank Agarwala (49) and Devdutt Padikkal (35) had a 77-run stand that gave Karnataka a good start, but regular wickets neutralised their threat. Shivang Kumar was the hero for Madhya Pradesh, taking five wickets for 45 runs in his 10 overs.

A slow start to Madhya Pradesh's chase. After maiden opening over from Kaverappa, the opening pair of Yash Dubey and Himanshu Mantri reach four in the second over. No rush for the batting side as they need just 208 to win at a rate of just over four-an-over.

At the end of the first powerplay, Madhya Pradesh have maintained a run rate of just over six, turning this chase into a walk in the park. With just 146 runs more needed to win, Karnataka need wickets to keep their hopes alive.

First breakthrough of the day for Karnataka as Vidyadhar Patil gets the wicket of Mantri, who departs after a solid 34 off 35 balls that included five boundaries. Yash Dubey, batting at 40 off 42, is joined by captain Venkatesh Iyer at the crease.

Dubey misses out on his fifty, being dismissed by Achar at 40 off 43. Venkatesh Iyer, who has faced just nine balls so far, is joined by Akshat Raghuwanshi at the other end. MP need 110 runs more to win, and Karnataka need more wickets to make this chase less routine.

Raghuwanshi's stay at the crease is brief as he is dismissed after a quick 26 off 17 balls by Shreyas Gopal, with Abhinav Manohar taking the catch. Tripuresh Singh comes on as the new batter for Madhya Pradesh, with Venkatesh going strong at the other end at 26 off 20. 72 runs more needed to win.

Venkatesh Iyer's Madhya Pradesh have beaten Karnataka in convincing fashion and by 7 wickets in Motera.

MP needed 208 for the win and it turned out to be a walk in the park for them. Openers Yash Dubey and Himanshu Mantri scored 40 and 34 each, Akshat Raghuwanshi scored 26 from number 4 while skipper Venkatesh Iyer remained not out at 65 along with Tripuresh Singh (36*).
