Despite wickets tumbling at regular intervals at the other end, Rohit Sharma (120 off 212 balls) batted with composure to bring up a hard-fought century, his ninth in the format. However, Rohit Sharma departed soon after new-ball was introduced by his counterpart. All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja (66 not out) and Axar Patel (52 not out) are still unbeaten as India look towards a strong position.
