The news is out! India A have won the toss and elected to field first against Oman in an all important clash.

The 1st innings is underway and Oman are off to a decent start with both the openers playing well especially Hammad Mirza who has smashed two boundaries and a six and is playing on 18 off 10 balls

After a blistering start by Hammad Mirza, IND A have managed to pull back things a bit. Suyash Sharma has played an important role in pulling things back for India by giving just 11 runs in 3 overs and picking up a wicket of Karan Sonavale.

Suyash gets the 2nd scalp! Zikria Islam is the batter to fall this time. IND A are controlling the game right time by picking wickets at the right time. Oman are losing the plot.

India A have restricted Oman for a paltry 135 runs. Hammad Mirza gave a good start to Oman's innings but middle order could not build onto the start and eventually could manage only 135. Suyash Sharma was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets for only 12 runs in his quota of 4 overs.

India A loses their first wicket. Shafiq Jan gets Priyansh Arya caught for 10 runs. That's not the start IND A would have expected, Naman Dhir comes in place of outgoing Arya.

Oman gets the big fish, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is out! Jay Odedra is the bowler who gets the big wicket and loses their 2nd wicket. Can Oman make a match out of it?

Despite losing 3 wickets, IND A are looking in a comfortable position with 58 runs required in 54 balls and 7 wickets in hand.

Jitesh Sharma finishes it off with a four and secure a place in the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Rising stars by a 6-wicket win over Oman.

After a shocking 8-wicket defeat against Pakistan Shaheens, IND A made a decent comeback against Oman to win the virtual quarter-finals by 6 wickets and make it to the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Rising Stars along with Pakistan Shaheens.

Till now IND A and Pakistan Shaheens have qualified to knockout stages of the tournament. Which teams will face each other be decided once all the four teams qualify. The semi-finals will start from Friday, November 21 and the final will take place on Sunday, 23 November, 2025.

The Indian team is studded with star players who are already big names for their franchises in the IPL. Players such as Vaibhav Suryanvanshi, Priyansh Arya and Ashutosh Sharma will be eager to show the world in the business end of the tournament that why they are rated so highly and are retained by their respective franchises in the IPL retention list.

On the sidelines of this tournament another India A side is facing the South Africa A side in a three-match unofficial ODI series. The 3rd ODI of the series is scheduled to be played on November 19, 2025 at the Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot. India A have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in that series.

The senior men's Indian side will play the 2nd Test of the two-match test series against South Africa at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. This match will commence from Saturday, November 22 from 9:00 AM (IST). South Africa won the 1st Test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and is currently leading the series by 1-0.
