1. What led to the decision to bring Rahul Dravid on board as the brand ambassador for buildAhome©?
Twelve years ago, long before buildAhome© existed, I was still a college student studying civil engineering and planning a special birthday surprise for my father, a lifelong Rahul Dravid fan. Through determination and a bit of luck, I managed to find Dravid’s number and invited him to attend my father’s birthday celebration. He couldn’t make it that day, but 45 days later, on the very morning of my father’s birthday, I received a call from Rahul Dravid himself.
On the other end of the line, he spent time speaking warmly with my father, wishing him personally and chatting with him at length. For my family, it wasn’t just a birthday wish — it was a memory etched forever. That single gesture, simple yet profound, showed me exactly what Rahul Dravid has always stood for: integrity, humility, and a genuine connection with people.

5. What are your expansion plans beyond South India? Do you see yourself entering other geographies soon?
We’re content being in South India for now because there’s still immense potential here. Instead of rushing into multiple geographies, we’re focusing on improving services and placing even greater emphasis on sustainable homes. For us, it’s about depth and quality rather than rapid expansion.
6. How does this collaboration with Rahul Dravid strengthen your long-term vision for the brand?
According to me, it is the most apt collaboration for a company like ours. Home construction is all about trust — people are putting their life savings into our hands, and honoring that is a huge responsibility. No one embodies that sense of responsibility, commitment, and integrity better than Rahul Dravid.
