Sivasubramanian Senior VP & Portfolio Manager, Franklin Templeton No longer looks very cheap, but attractively valued for long term with strong fundamentals. Volatility is here to stay, however the underlying trend is positive over a period of time. Bottom-up approach, focus on business fundamentals, valuations     and not market hype.

Naganath Joint President and CIO, DSP Merrill Lynch Investor should not be concerned about Sensex  level. Focus on fundamentals of stock. Volatility may be irksome in the short term. However, for long term it is not a major variable. Build a diversified portfolio rather than focus on one segment.

Sanjeev Duggal
CIO, HSBC Asset Management India
Makes more sense to look at the valuations at which the Sensex is trading
than absolute Sensex.
Sensex comprises of only 30 stocks. Volatility to rather    influence short-term investors. Disciplined investment, proper asset allocation and stay invested for  the long term.

Equity investment atmosphere is conducive for individual stocks.    Depressed market conditions is always good
for making investments.
Invest in companies with margin of safety at a given price rather than focusing on a crazy theme.
