Global Star Taylor Swift is someone who never leaves an opportunity to go out and help people when they’re in need. She has done that in the past numerous times, and she once again has done it in the wake of the devastation caused by the tornados in middle Tennessee. The entire province is suffering the aftermath of the devasting tornados, and Taylor Swift is trying to extend a helping hand to the varied communities.

Taylor Swift has donated $1 Million towards the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund which is based out of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The foundation is trying to help out people and communities who are devastated after the horrifying effects of the tornados. As per a report on USA Today, the donation was confirmed by Hal Cato, CEO of the community foundation. In such phases of a disaster, such a community tries to help out people in need and other nonprofit organisations who are trying to help provide vital services and necessities. Hal Cato revealed that the donation made by Taylor Swift will go on to “support the immediate and long-term recovery needs” of the people who are affected by the tornados in the county.

The cause definitely is close to Taylor Swift’s heart because she herself had, as a teenager, faced something similar. She attended Hendersonville High School in Sumner County, which was one of the many schools that had been ravaged by storms that killed numerous people and left many others injured.
