Asian Track Cycling Championships 2022: India Finish With Best-ever Medal Haul - In Pics
In the just-concluded Asian Track Cycling Championships 2022 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, the Indian cycling team finished won 23 combined medals (two gold, six silver and 15 bronze), which is the best-ever performance by the country at the championships. Ronaldo Laitonjam won a historic silver medal in the men’s sprint event. Earlier, he won bronze medals in the 1km Time Trial and Team Sprint events. Other notable medallists were Birjit Yumnam (bronze in Men's 15km Points Race) and Chayanika Gogoi (bronze in Women's 10km Scratch Race).
