What about the issue of your mother being a foreigner?
My mother also played an important role in making me a true Indian. As far as personal attacks are concerned, our family has never believed in countering them. Look how we endured the Bofors issue for 17 long years. It taught us that the truth finally has to emerge. Besides, if we get swayed by such issues we will lose our focus.
And if people start making personal attacks on you?
What such kind of people think does not make a difference. Yet I have always remained open to suggestions even from my enemies, but no one can cow me down.
