Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan has landed in another controversy after a purported audio clip of him allegedly involved in 'phone sex' with a woman went viral.

In the audio clip, shared by Pakistan journalist Syed Ali Haider on YouTube, one can hear a man, purportedly Imran Khan, talking to a woman in lewd language. According to various media reports, the audio emerged from the Pakistan Prime Minister's Office.

Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek -e-Insaaf (PTI) has called the audio clips fake and has accused the government of using fake videos and audio to target their chief. PTI leader Arslan Khalid said, “Political opponents of the PTI chairman can't think beyond creating fake audios and videos."

"Khan sb can do whatever he wants in his personal life but I hope he will stop presenting himself as some kind of role model Muslim leader for the entire Ummah," said journalist Hamza Azhar Salam in a tweet.

The leaked video is the latest one in a series of alleged leaked conversations of Khan after he lost power earlier this year.
