1) Azadi (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero)
There is an impression that Rahman does not know Hindi. But this song is soemotional that it dispels that idea. He has really composed this song with thewords in mind.
2) Mangal/ Maula (The Rising)
While Mangal became very popular, even Maula, a duet with Rahman is verybeautiful. When you hear it you will feel like the singer is cut off from themodern world and is just calling out to God.
3) Tu Meri Jaan Hai (Jassi)
I sang this song for the soap Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. It is verybeautiful. very unlike the soulless music that is made these days.
4) Rang De Basanti (Rang De Basanti)
There is a freshness to this song. It does not sound like anything else. Itis very unusual.
5) Govinda (Sarkar)
I like the idea of this song. It fits in well in the movie.
6) Jhuki Jhuki (Chocolate)
This is a beautiful song I have sung along with Sunidhi Chauhan.
7) Jai Hanuman (Hanuman)
Actually there are two very good songs in this movie, which i have sung. ButI love this song. I have sung it as a duet with Shankar Mahadevan.
