Kanye West has once again fallen in the midst of a controversy. This time it’s the lyrics of his song ‘Vultures’. In the past as well, he has been allegedly accused of antisemitic remarks. For the unversed, the song was recently leaked online, and that’s the root cause of this outrage. However, Kanye West has denied that there’s any antisemitic sentiment behind his new song.

The Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee both have come together and joined hands to show their concern over the lyrics of this song. This comes amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. As per reports the song has the lyrics ‘fucked a Jewish bitch’, which people are calling out as appalling.

As per a report on TMZ, the Anti-Defamation League’s spokesperson said, “At a time of rising antisemitism worldwide, it’s disgusting to see Kanye once again use his platform to spew Jew hatred.” The report also claims that the spokesperson called the lyrics an ‘unrepentant antisemite and clearly a misogynist’.

On the same TMZ report, American Jewish Committee’s spokesperson Richard Hirschhaut referred to the lyric as ‘particularly pathetic and sad’. Richard Hirschhaut said, “To fuel the flames of antisemitism and promote such bile to his millions of followers, especially at this fraught and dangerous time for the Jewish community, is unforgivable.”
