Harmanpreet Kaur - We played a good series here before the WC. We're thinking positively and are looking to do well. One unfortunate change - Amanjot isn't playing (she's ill), Renuka Thakur replaces her. We've gelled well as a team and looking forward to today's contest.

Fatima Sana - We're going to bowl first, looks like there could be some moisture on the wicket. One change for us - Sadaf Shamas replaces Omaima Sohail - our confidence is great, hopefully we'll play better today. Anything under 250 could be a good chase.

I spoke to the captain 2-3 days ago that her campaign has started well and everyone is looking in good shape. They also had a good camp here in the Centre of Excellence before the World Cup. And when the mood is good in the camp when everyone creates a good culture in the camp then matches and victories actually become a by-product.

My stand will never change on that. Because, I will say it again, if you talk about rivalry, then rivalry is when you play 12 games and it's a 6-all or 7-5 or something like that. But 11-0 I think is not a rivalry. If the women's team also focuses completely on playing good cricket today then I am sure it will be 12-0.

India set the tone from the very start with the ball. Renuka Singh and Kranti Gaud swung and seamed brilliantly, leaving the Pakistan openers clueless. Renuka’s relentless spell of 8 overs at the top kept Pakistan always behind the required run rate, applying constant pressure and breaking early momentum.

Pakistan’s fightback came through Sidra Amin, who batted superbly alongside Natalia Pervaiz, finding boundaries and giving her team hope with a steady partnership. However, once Amin was dismissed, India seized full control. Despite the win, India’s fielding had lapses, with Richa Ghosh notably dropping key catches, which could have made the margin even more decisive.
