There's a lot more to Mumbai than 26/11. However, no other incident is a better metaphor for the city's fragility and, in the same instance, its instinct for survival. We were both born in Mumbai and we never realised how much this city had seeped into us till our jobs took us on trips to other parts of India. If ever the best of India and the worst of India was thrown into the same cauldron, this is the steaming dish that would result. So when we sat down to write this, we decided we have to boil down everything we want to say to one single word. A word that would want people to find out more. And know more. Till one can't get enough of it. Or escape it. This is what the city does to all those come to its shores.
