The West remains the most important source market. If connectivity breaks down, delegations shrink and the quality of deal-making suffers, especially for smaller operators and destinations,” he said.Meanwhile, drawing on past crises, Bezbaruah said regional tourism often strengthens during periods of geopolitical uncertainty.“As happened during earlier disruptions, regional tourism tends to grow. India would do well to focus on South Asia and Southeast Asia.
