Rajasthan Assembly Polls: Congress Releases Manifesto, Promises Caste Census And New Recruitment Scheme At Panchayat Level

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge released the Rajasthan poll manifesto at a programme in Jaipur on Tuesday and said that his party makes promises that they can fulfil.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at an event in Jaipur released the Congress Manifesto on Tuesday which includes the promise of a caste census and a new scheme for the recruitment at Panchayat level.

In its manifesto, Congress also promises Rs 2 lakh interest-free loan to farmers, MSP as per Swaminathan commission report.

Mallikarjun Kharge at the manifesto releasing event said, "We make promises which we can fulfill."

Further Kharge said, "Cong will create 10 lakh job opportunities in 5 years in Rajasthan, including 4 lakh jobs in govt sector."

The manifesto also promises to take Rajasthan's economy to Rs 30 lakh crore by 2030 and Kharge also mentioned that by the end of 2023, the economy of the state will be Rs 15 lakh crore.

Kharge has also denied PM Narendra Modi's accusations against him of abusing his own father, Kharge called him, "Jhuto Ka Sardar".

The manifesto was released by party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Gehlot, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra, chairman of the manifesto committee CP Joshi, former deputy CM Sachin Pilot and other leaders at the PCC office in Jaipur.

Rajasthan goes to polls on November 25 and the results will be declared on December 3.
