Recently, the Punjab government unveiled plans for establishing Jhajjar Bachauli Wildlife Sanctuary as one of the first leopard safaris in the state, simultaneously also turning Nangal into a popular tourist destination. These drives seek to boost tourism, rejuvenate biodiversity and preservation as well as create new jobs sustainably. At the heart of it, the newly introduced plan aims at development of the state and its tourism.
