A cloudburst struck the Yamuna Valley in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district on Saturday (Sep 6) evening, triggering flooding and mudslides in the Naugaon area. While debris buried a residential house and muddy waters from a swollen stream entered more than half a dozen homes, officials confirmed there was no loss of life.
