Terror Recce
July 7 and 14: Four cars—three Wagon-Rs and a Maruti 800—are stolen from Navi Mumbai in the suburbs.
Between July 19-25: Cars proceed from Mumbai on a recce to Ahmedabad, via Surat and Vadodara. The cars return to Vadodara to be loaded with explosives.
July 26: Two cars, a Wagon-R and the Maruti 800, explode at two Ahmedabad hospitals.
July 27: The other two cars are found in Surat, packed with explosives.
