A Month Later, No End In Sight To Israel-Hamas War

The Tuesday (November 7) marks a grim first-month anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel that began the ongoing Israel-Hamas War. The Hamas and allied Palestinian groups killed at least 1,400, injured over 5,400, and took over 220 hostages. Israel has responded with continuous aerial and artillery bombardment and a ground operation that began last month. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced on both from the monthlong fighting. While several Hamas leaders and facilities have been taken down in Israeli strikes, civilian casualties have also been reported. Hamas-run Gazan authorities say at least 10,000 have been killed in Israeli strikes, including over 4,100 children.
