In a significant boost to its international network, IndiGo has announced two new European destinations, reinforcing its strategic ambitions in the region. From October 8, 2025, the Indian low-cost carrier will commence direct flights from Mumbai to Copenhagen, marking its entry into Denmark and expanding its footprint across northern Europe. IndiGo also confirmed that Athens will be the inaugural destination for its first Airbus A321XLR aircraft, which is expected to join the fleet by the end of 2025.
