IndiGo will be the first airline to commence commercial flights from the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), currently under construction. As the country’s leading low-cost carrier, it will begin with 18 daily departures, connecting over 15 cities across India.

By November 2025, IndiGo aims to increase its operations to 79 daily departures, including 14 international flights. By November 2026, the number is expected to rise to 140 daily departures, with 30 international connections, reinforcing NMIA's role as a major Western hub.
