Protestors thronged the police station in Rajasthan's Dausa district after the alleged rape of a four-year-old girl by a police sub-inspector. The accused, Sub-inspector Bhupendra Singh, who was on election duty, is said to have lured the girl into his room, leading to widespread condemnation from the villagers.

Bhupendra Singh has been arrested, and an ongoing investigation is being conducted, according to Assistant Superintendent of Police Bajrang Singh. The incident occurred in the Lalsot area, and Dausa SP Vandita Rana mentioned that the exact age of the victim would be determined through a medical examination.

The gravity of the situation has prompted swift action, with orders for the dismissal of the accused police sub-inspector issued by DGP Umesh Mishra. "Instructions have been given for strict action to be taken in the case. An order has been given to dismiss the accused police sub-inspector," Mishra stated.

As news of the incident spread, outraged villagers gathered at the Rahuwas police station, expressing their anger through slogans and physical confrontation with Bhupendra Singh. BJP MP Kirodi Lal Meena, responding to the public outrage, visited the site and declared a compensation of ₹50 lakh for the victim's family.

"I have come here to help the girl. The sub-inspector has been arrested. For me, elections come afterward, and my first priority will be giving the family justice. It is a shameful incident," stated Mr. Meena, emphasizing the need for justice in the face of this distressing incident.
