Mexico: Volcano Spews Ash And Molten Rock, Authorities Prepare For Evacuation

The Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico has spewed smoke, ash, and molten rock, prompting the authorities to raise the alert to just one level below the red alert. This is considered to be one of the most dangerous volcanos in the world. Evacuations have not yet been ordered, but authorities are preparing for that scenario and are telling people to stay out of 7.5-mile (12-kilometer) radius around the peak of the volcano.
