Ahead of the prestigious FIFA World Cupevent, teams have begun their training and are playing warm-up games to get the desired rhythm before the mega tournament. Argentina were training in UAE and played their warm-up tie against UAE at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. Lionel Scaloni’s men emerged victors against the Middle East nation, scoring five past their porous defence. In the 17th minute, Julian Alvarez gave the lead to the Argentines as Lionel Messi squared it off to Alvarez in open space who slotted the ball home. Angel Di Maria doubled the advantage of Copa America champions in the 25th minute, scoring a thunderous volley in the far left corner from a cross. Di Maria was on target again, scoring in the 36th minute to give a 3 goal lead. Just before the half time, Messi also got into the act, scoring from the right side. The match was over but Argentina did not stop exerting their dominance as Joaquin Correa scored the fifth goal of the night for Albiceleste. Argentina have already travelled to Qatar after their warm-up game and will play the first game of the World Cup against Saudi Arabia on 22nd November.
