North Rim 

The North Rim has an elevation of 8,000 fee (2,438). The best season to visit Grand Canyon's north rim is mid-May to mid-October. Also, the hiking trail of the North Rim is 100 miles (161 kilometres) of trails. Also, the North Rim is less crowded than the South Rim. 

The North Rim is famous for its more difficult hiking trails and more isolated atmosphere. Additionally, the North Rim's trails are less crowded than those on the South Rim. The North Rim is a good option if you want a strenuous walk in a remote location.

South Rim

The elevation of South Rim is 7,000 feet (2,134 meters). One can visit South Rim throughout the year. The hiking trails of South Rim are 150 miles  (241 kilometres) of trails, ranging from easy to strenuous, Also, South Rim is highly crowded compared to North Rim. 

The South Rim is renowned for its larger selection of amenities and its more accessible hiking trails. The South Rim's trails are also closer to the rim, so you can take in breathtaking views without making a long hike. The South Rim is a good option if you're looking for a less strenuous hike with more amenities.

Which is the right rim to visit?

This is a completely subjective matter. While deciding the best rim for yourself, it is very necessary to understand your hiking abilities and preferences.

If one has experience in hiking, then North Rim can prove better, whereas if one has  just started hiking, then South Rim is the best option.
